Newest EP titled “YOU” from Croatia's 4-piece instrumental rock/metal band ZAYN is the 3rd part of their conceptual tetralogy Monolit which started in 2015. with the album “Fields of God”.
Mix of rock genres in this 15 minute instrumental journey is accomplished over three very dynamically different compositions, retained in the theme of View onto contemporary human from totality to an individual.
The core statement of ''YOU'' is that we’re using outer beauty as a mask to hide vanity. Disinterest for our own intellectual and emotional growth makes us egoistic without basis, and mold us into collective single-mindedness.

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this.
